I beg to differ.

Targon wasn't a soldier, he was a worker in a storehouse of one of the companies, and he gave Beregond and Pippin a meal of assorted food and ale.

Oh, and he is on tuckborough.

and hes also on google  i think the fact that he was in the company is enough though - hes a minor character

That's the thing, It was never written that he was in any company, I always assumed that he was someone who provided the company with meals, not fighting as one of them.
haven't you seen Gordon in his busby?

Imagine Jamie Oliver/Gordon Ramsey cooking a meal for the queen, doesn't mean he's part of her bodyguard.[/quote]

The plains south of Mirkwood were home to the Northmen, later to be known as who?

Good luck!!

Some of them founded Dale and others went east and allied with the Easterlings, so it's either the Éothéod or the Wainriders.

I'm quite sure that Beregond says something along the lines of "Look, this guy's Targon. He's in my company. Targon give me food and butter. Targon's a soldier, Pippin, not the bodyguard of Gordon Brown or whatever Sean said. Hey, it's Denethor! Hey Mr. Steward!"
Or something like that.

Okay, hmmm, let's see, here's one:

1) What happened to the Dunlendings after the siege of Helm's Deep, 2) how did this compare to what they'd expected, and 3) why had they expected this?

This question is in 3 parts, so I want a good long answer. 2 A4 at the least

ok im going to have to say....
At the end of the Battle for helms deep they were forced to do manual labor and bury bodies rebuild the wall etc. They believed that they would be killed and roasted alive and eaten. they thought his because Saruman had told them that the Rohirim were harsh to their prisoners.

Not sure about #2 but we'll see.... :D

ps bad spelling..

Sometimes the speed of responses (especially the correct ones) astonishes me. Your turn FrodoWhoEnjoysFermentedMilk!
