Just curious...

What tabletop miniature wargame rules do you own? Here's mine:

Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game (naturally)
Warhammer 40K, 3rd Edition (GW)
Legends of the Old West (GW Warhammer Historical)
Warmachine (Privateer Press)
Hordes (Privateer Press)
Flames of War, 2nd Edition (Battlefront)
Pirates of the Crimson Coast (Wizards of the Coast)
Warhammer Ancient Battles (GW Warhammer Historical)
Pax Limpopo (Eureka Miniatures)
Alternate Events - WWII (Darkson Designs)
Rules of Engagement (Brigade Games)
Wings of Glory - WWI (Ares)
Wings of Glory - WWII (Ares)
Monsterpocalypse (Privateer Press)
War of the Ring (Games Workshop)
Disposable Heroes & Coffin For Seven Brothers (Iron Ivan Games)
Incursion (Grindhouse Games)
Blitzkrieg Commander (Wargames Directory)
Flying Lead (Ganesha Games)
Song of Blades and Heroes (Ganesha Games)
General Quarters (Old Dominion)
Malifaux (Wyrd Miniatures)
Aeronef (no idea)
Secrets of the Third Reich (West Wind Productions)
Atomic Cafe (Brigade Games)
Dust Tactics (Fantasy Flight Games)
Dystopian Wars (Spartan Games)
AK47 Republic (Peter Pig)
Battlefield Evolution: Modern Warfare (Mongoose Publishing)
Force on Force (Ambush Alley)
Savage Worlds
Tomorrow's War (Ambush Alley)
SAGA (Tomahawk Games)
Dropzone Commander (Hawk Games)
Bolt Action (Warlord Games)
Nuts!
A World Aflame (Osprey)
Dux Bellorum (Osprey)
Carnivale

Plus I have the free downloadable rules of Epic, Inquisitor, Mordheim, and Warmaster.

I don't actively play roleplaying games any more, since all of my friends grew up and I didn't. But I have the rules for:

D&D 1st Edition
D&D Miniatures Game
AD&D 1st Edition (and editions 2, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0)
Traveler
Twilight 2000
ICE's Middle-earth Role Playing
TSR's Gamma World
TSR's Boot Hill

I have the following:

Warhammer 40k (3rd and 4th editions)
Warhammer Fantasy (although I don't really play)
LoTR
Warmachine/ Hordes
Flames of War 2nd Edition

I am currently focusing my attention here on LoTR, but I will possibly also be starting Warmachine/ Hordes with a buddy of mine. It's not really that big around here, but we hope to develop a decent base for it.

I was looking into FOW, but I heard that the models are made with lead, and I really don't want to deal with the potential health problems for my children with lead exposure. It's not worth the risks, however small.

So, basically, I will continue to play 40k, although sporadically, while I concentrate most of my time and effort on LoTR and Warmachine.

I got into this hobby at Christmas of 2003 and the only rules I own are for the Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game. In the time that I started this hobby I've played around 5-8 games, but hope to start playing again against my wife and her elves. Before that I never knew anything about war games, and I don't know if I'll ever move toward another game as I don't have the time or desire to learn a whole new gaming system, besides LotR is my passion.

In addition to LotR I have the book for only WarGods of Aegyptus. Yesterday I ordered my first pack of WarGods minis, and I can't wait to get those miniatures in my paws.

Maybe BattleTech also counts? It's a strategy game though the default Mech markers are made of card so they can't really be called miniatures.

@Gothmog Rulez,
I'm not sure if you made a typo, or if this is what you meant: "5th, soon to be 6th" edition - if you are just about to buy 6th edition then you may as well wait... two weeks, for 7th.

I'll be showing my age a bit here...

Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Games
Warhammer 1st Edition (still in the cardboard box)
Warhammer 3rd Edition
Warhammer 40k (latest edition - my son's)
Confrontation
Battletech
Cry Havoc (converted hex board to measurements for tabletop games)
Road to Osaka

Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition
Runequest
Judge Dredd RPG
Call of Cthulhu RPG (GW and d20 editions)
Traveller 1st Edition (still in the little box)

Most of the time though (other than LotR SBG) I play by home grown rules. There is a sci-fi game (loosely based on Traveller and developed over 25+ years by my friends and I for tabletop and RPG), a fantasy game (totally home grown - rules made to cater for play by email, tabletop and RPG within the same universe) and several other Play by Email games.

Sorry got a bit carried away there. I have played MANY other games over the years, but LotR does it for me and I can honestly say that it is my preferred system (though there are a few house rule tweaks) out of the box.

Man.... Looks like I am going to be the Odd Man Outhere.I don't own a whole lot of fantasy or GW products. I just haven't been able to afford most of them unfortunately. A lot of my friends have them... So, I figured since I only play when they are around... Why spend the money when i could use it to buy more minis...

I own the following:

Traveller (original boxed set of LBBs)

Runequest (Original Hardback of Runequest II)

Ashanti High Lightning

Striker

Striker II

A playtest copy of Striker III (Since change to System Striker5*)

Laserburn (1979/80 by Brian Ansell)

OGRE/GEV (and the miniature rules)

The Fantasy Trip (which requires the Melee and Wizard rules. Both are somewhere)

Dirtside II

Stargrunt II

DBA 2.1/2.2

DBM

Hoplon (which I use with my LotR minis instead of the SBG)

Might of Arms

WRG 6th edition/7th edition (Now called Warrior)

Blitzkreig (An old game by Avalon Hill)

Panzergruppe Guderian (SPI)

Superiority (and several variants... I love the little minis)

Sea War (A modern Naval Combat game)

War at Sea (A WWII naval warfare game)

Ironclads (An oldie by Yaquinto. A game company in Dallas TX from the 1970's - 1980's)

Wooden Ships and Iron Men (Napoleonic Naval)

Close Action (Napoleonic Naval)

Dreadnought (I can't remember who this is by, but it is WWI and pre-WWI Naval combat)

Axis And Allies

Axis And Allies Naval War collectable game

Axis and Allies Land Collectable game

Shogun

Starship Troopers (The original Avalon Hill Product. I don't care much for the Movie Interpretation, and cannot wait for the rights to expire so that we can see a proper version of the movie done)

AT-43 (love the pre-paints on this one, but I tend to prefer to paint my own still. They are supposed to begin offering the unpainted minis next year)

And here are the GW products that I own

Epic 40k (first edition from 1988/89 or was that 1990???)

Warhammer from 1983

Warmaster/Warmaster Ancients

LotR SBG

I think that I may have a few others back in TX in storage, but I cannot recall what they may be.

Errrrr....

40k - Rogue Trader, and every edition since

WFB - Both Realms of Chaos books, the old Warhammer armies book, and every edition since the goblin/elf box

LotR and WotR - Every Journey/sourcebook, except the original FotR rules manual.

Blood Bowl

Inquisitor

Necromunda

Warmaster

Epic - Space Marine, the edition with the tiny rulebooks, and the current edition

Gorkamorka

Mordheim

Void and Urban War

Celtos

Dark Age

WARMACHINE

HORDES

Spinespur

Warhammer Ancients

Legends of the Old West

Confrontation

Ragnarok

Robogear

Heroscape

Heroquest

Space Crusade

Advanced Heroquest

Dungeons and Dragons Minis - the skirmish game

Heroclix

Sabertooth's LotR Game

Star Wars Miniatures

MageKnight

Starship Troopers

Malifaux

Kings of War

That's just off the top of my head. I'd have to go to my da's and rake through my old room to make sure that was everything.

That's not including the RPG's either...

DnD 2nd and 3rd edition. And 4th edition.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

LotR - decipher edition?

Buffy RPG

TMNT RPG, most of the supplements, Ninjas and Superspies, and the Supernatural One

Iron Kingdoms RPG for D20

Fighting Fantasy books, plus the source books with the multiplayer and mass battle rules.

No wonder it all takes up 3 rooms and a garage...

Wow, the next UK Games Day will be held at your place I reckon.

That's an impressive list! Since I first posted this, I have added the rules for Hordes, AE-WWII, Pax Limpopo, and am seriously thinking about Secrets of the Third Reich and Crossfire. But I'm still nowhere near your list!

I gave in to old habits and acquired Flames of War, plus the Akrika Korps supplement and the Tigers Marshe, Wittmans Tiger (so that's 6 Tigers!) and some of the other 'hero' units (including Rommel) plus one of the marvellous 1:100 scale pre-painted aircraft sold by Antenociti.

Now all I need is some time....

Hmmm, I guess I could charge 35 quid for entry, that's some serious gaming money.

Also, that's just the rule books. I'm not counting all the assorted minis to go with them...

It's funny what you find lurking in the back of a cupboard.. they are painted somewhat garishly (a 'chivalric' style that was prevalent in GW circles at the time - early - mid 1990's), but here are my Titan Legions.. seeing the new ForgeWorld Reaver has brought back happy memories.

Sighs...

I've updated my list of tabletop wargames I own and either play or paint minis for - rapidly turning into Larry Leadhead here.

Here's my list:

--Lord of the Rings SBG (my first love since the Two Towers Edition of the game)
--Warhammer 40,000 (4th & 5th Editions)
--Warhammer Fantasy Battles (7th Edition, just started)
--Battle of Five Armies (Barely even cracked the box)
--Battlefleet Gothic (3 different fleets)

I think that's about it for now...and it's more than enough.

Hmm. This could take a while. I have rules and playable (but not necessarily fully painted!) forces for and have played:

Lord of the Rings (natch!)
Warhammer 40k
Warhammer Fantasy Battle
Battlefleet Gothic
Warmachine
Hordes
Infinity
AT-43
Confrontation: Age of Reckoning
Robogear
Warhammer Ancient Battles
Anima Tactics
Wyld Hunt
Tannhäuser
Wings of War
Monsterpocalypse
Halo Actionclix
Land Ironclads
Legends of the Old West
Epic Armageddon
Dreamblade
De Bellis Antiquitatis
Pirates of the Spanish Main TCG
Star Wars Pocketmodel TCG
Rocketmen TCG
Pax Limpopo
Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures
Full Thrust
5150

And other rulesets I haven't collected armies for (yet):

Urban War
Metropolis
Flames of War
No Limits
Alien Squad Leader
Command Horizon
Bbylon 5: Call to Arms
Necromunda
Mordheim
Inquisitor
Bloodbowl
Dark Future
Gorkamorka
Streetfight
Gangstars
FUBAR
Sharp Practice
Dirtside
Stargrunt
Chain Reaction
Age of Blood
Dead Walk Again
.45 Adventures
Victory at Sea
Aeronef
Comitatus
Rebellion
Hordes of the Things
Conqueror: Fields of Victory
Fantasy Warriors
No Quarter
Futbowel
Battlelore

And possibly one or two more I can't put my hands on right now.

I've also got a few redundant RPGs knocking around for old times sake:

D&D (original 3-book set)
AD&D (1st edition)
Basic D&D
Runequest (1st ed)
Warhammer Fantasy Battles (2nd ed)
Confrontation (2nd & 3rd editions)

The sad thing is that I'm nowhere near stopping... I'm considering buying into Uncharted Seas at the minute... somebody stop me please...
