Almost finished, my plan is to give this miniature a dramatic snow base

Final shield design.
It was quite spontaneous really, I had no idea what I wanted to do with the shield, except I didn't want it to look like the numerous other versions of this miniature, i.e. decorative patterns of sorts all over the shield

Thanks guys.

That depends on the miniature and how many collectors are after it. The wood elf lord sold for $152. I guess I'm hoping for about the same for this latest one, but you never know :)

I have a size "0" Winsor brush, worn out to the verge of annihilation

Finished:

Actually I don't think you need a very thin brush for freehand, as long as you keep your paints diluted so that they're thin and easy to work with. You should make your way to coolminiornot.com, there's guys there that will knock your socks off. Guys like Rusto, Darkeden and Jmpn makes me want to hide under a rock somewhere. :) I'm from Sweden.

Unbelievable! Your NMM is probably the best I have ever seen! And then it's that amazing freehand... And you complete everything with a lovely little base. I'm hugely impressed (as always). :yay:
