Catachan Green is gone from the webstore and I'm hearing from several sources that stores aren't restocking it any more, which can only really mean one thing. Would GW really dicontinue such an essential colour? Well, yes, they did it before with Bronzed Flesh despite an outcry.

My guess is that Knarloc is meant to replace it, which is pretty unsatisfactory what with it being completely different and all.

Hope you weren't using it to paint your army!

It's still available on the US website, http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... prod810901 .

It's also still available on the UK webstore, http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... prod810901 .

If you'd like, I can hoard all the Catachan Green in my area and sell it to you later at jacked-up prices! 8)

I can understand that GW would want to cut back on paints that aren't selling, but Catachan Green is an extremely popular and useful colour, so I can't understand why they would consider it.

Needs investigating further.

There ARE other greens...

Between VGC, VMC, P3, Foundry, Rackham etc. you should find something suitable.

From Reaper: Muddy Olive (9034)

Both these are very close................

Did Longbottom Leaf not just dispel this rumour anyway? Follow those links he posted and buy some up!

Grey Company armies are pretty boring though, for the player on either side of the field.

Thanks, Lord Hurin. :)

No need to stop your plans for a Ranger army, samoht. It's availbe online, and there are also viable alternatives. Plus, you could paint them without Catachan Green.

I agree with Alan, its a usefull and popular color, I don't see any reason for GW to discontinue it.

That's really bizarre, it wasn't when looked. A glitch maybe?

If my store doesn't carry it any more I guess I'll have to order it.

It may have been, yeah. Also, on GW's website Cat Green is listed next to some of the browns, instead of the greens. Not sure why, but that's GW for you.

I've got an unused pot that was bought a month or two a go that should last me a while. And if it is can still be ordered then there is no problem.

We have plenty in stock  Strange decisions being made by the GW camp however, it's good to hear that cat green is still available.
