Still trying to find a good 500p list...I'm going shopping on Monday and I want to be sure what to get...I want an evil army with lots of Black Numenoreans in it, allied with either orcs or haradrim..

I want a phalanx, a force of cavalry, a BN marshal as a capt and something to stop uber heroes....

Shadowlord-horse-130p
Black Numenorean Marshal-shield-65p

9 Black Numenoreans-81p
9 orcs w/ spears-54p
11 orc warriors-shields-55p
5 Morgul Knights-100p

how is it?
Any further ideas for such an army?

There's some rumours of plastic Morgul Knights coming out. So I wouldn't start getting loads of expensive metals ones yet.

They're not just rumors, pictures of them have already been seen. Check out the news forum. :)

I'd second General Elessar's advice, wait to buy the Morgul Knights come out in plastic this May. It'll save you quite a good deal of money. 8)

Lack of troops is really going to hurt in this army as you have taken a lot of elites and a couple of rather expensive heroes. Personally when I play with my Mordor army I like to have heapes of orcs and morranon orcs (to deal with the pesky defence 6 enemies) though I haven't got any black numenorians yet because I'm kind of waiting for them to come out in plastic.

I made the army with the new plastic knights in mind....
The shadowlord is a lot of points...just how many people take uber heroes at 500p? is he worth it? I play gondor and use Boromir coTW w/ horse and lance and know he is very hard to stop wthout a nazgul....
Do people use the likes of him at 500p?

I would agree with that. Don't spend more than 250pts on heroes.

I would agree with that. Don't spend more than 250pts on heroes.


I would say not more than 150 pts. on heroes in an army full of elites.
