Yay!

More Wargs. however this is more of a re-release.

(Puts on old timey voice) because I remember back in the day, in a time where some metal minatures could be ordered induvidualy (my 3 Castellans pfor example), when letters (A-H) where used for the pricing and the GW site was it's old self, you could buy the Warg Sprue from the bitz (as well as the fabled metal conversion sprue) for £12, but since back then Cavalry still cost £12, I just bought the riders. All they have done is made it £2 cheaper (or £5 cheaper than today's Warg Rider box).

Still, more wargs for my Misty Mountains army.

I really miss that old GW site, it was really great... :(

I like this set. I will most likely not get it though. Still, it was nice to see this suddenly and unexpectedly. Could this mark the slow return of all those bitz we've been waiting for? Or any old miniatures to be reproduced? Nah, probably not.

Perhaps some more new box sets in the horizon?
I just bought the BGIME magazine for the miniatures, and I ordered one with only the wargs a couple of times.

A bit random, but nice too see, and good thing it isn't $40 (CA) like the other sets 8)

I'd like to be able pick up lots of extra mounts for both Rohan and Isengard. This goes a good way towards achieving that goal. For once, good on you GW, but the price is a bit steep considering what you get.

If it wasn't, it wouldn't be a GW product.

But seriously though, at least they are attempting to address the issue of Wargs being needed sans the riders and the disparity of cost to build a lot of wargs. If I were a new WotR player and calculated how much it would cost to build a elven or a misty mountain cavalry centric army, I would have gone with the elves merely due to cost per point.
I am always willing to bash GW and their often seemingly idiotic business strategies. But in this instance I have to give credit where credit is due.
