I don't know what book you've read but the witch-king is definitely a Ringwraith. 8)

Well for upgrade combinations for a dragon i always use fly and/or tough hide. Since the dragon has to take a courage test each time it suffers a wound i prefer to have higer defence. And since i don´t use will on breathe fire i can save it for courage tests. Fly is of course for gwting faster around the battlefield, securing objectives etc so it´s also very useful.

I still don't think what I find of dragons they are very strong but there base is so big...... the base is really a issue in most games cause they can throw a lot of warriors at you.

The best upgrades are tough hide and fly.

Gil galad is the ultimate dragon killer.

I agree, Gil-galad is a great dragon killer, but a few other heroes could get the job done:

Aragon with Anduril is also a good dragon killer, but although he is great at wounding the creature he might have trouble winning the fight against it. A spellcaster could help here if his/her magic could get past the Dragon's magical resistance and 3 points of Will.

Rumil on the other hand would be great for winning the fight but wouldn't be as good at slaying the dragon. However, if he had help from a load of Elven Warriors with Elven Blades it could work - Rumil could help win the fight and the Elves could kill it.

As for the upgrades it depends on how you plan to use your Dragon - Tough Hide and Fly are good for warrior killing, Wormtongue/Breathe Fire and fly are great for hero hunting or you could have a bit of both with Tough Hide and Breath Fire.

Or you could take both the heroes together.

Yeah but gil galad can win the fight and wound the beast and is
140 points but aragorn with anduril and rumil are 340 points and gil galad is also terror wich makes it difficult for the dragon too charge him and that makes that the dragon has no knock to ground if the dragon wins.

PS: I used the dragon today in a game and it's ideal to take objectives in domination I use the dragon with fly and tough hide wich both paid off.

I agree, Gil-galad is a much better choice (probably the best) for slaying a Dragon. Although I said Aragon or Rumil could do the job, Gil-galad is 200 points less (if you take both of them) and has a much better chance of slaying the creature.

BANNER BEARERS

How do you utilize them in your force and what is the best way to protect them or get rid of them?

Always take them if you use an army that cannot have spears (such as dwarfs). Put them in your tighest packed unit so that more models can benefit from it's bonus. Also try to a model in base contact at all time to recover the banner if your banner bearer is killed.

I don't. If I can take what, 3-4 extra warriors instead, that seems like it would make more difference than re-rolls.

Hmm, interesting, I never actually thought of it that way...

I personally play Grey Company, so I don't ever take banners unless the game is 750pts+. I did used to have a Rohan force though, and in that one, I always took Banners. They can add a lot to a calvary charge.

Peace

When I take banners I almost always forget to use them, so I rarely bother anymore. I think I also prefer the higher model count.

Pretty much what I was going to say. I don't think a banner in necessary for an army with spears, such as Harad and Gondor, but for armies with out spears (Dwarves especially) they are very valuable.

They are very good for dwarves, if you remember to use them. Though I would only start adding a banner in at 500 points, below that it is better to get the extra troops.

I used a banner in a 400pts Dwarf army for a tournament which was fine.

Yeah, at 400 points it is still an option, but it becomes a little more risky.
