I, have been a member for a while mainly browsing and researching with my daughter who demanded lotr wargaming from me ( i prefer bkc cwc and fwc myself) . so while she decides what she wants, i purchase, pay for and paint it as well as build terrain while she donates some of her pocket money to the cause (about 5%)

Welcome to the One RIng. It's good that you've gone and introduced yourself.

Welcome! I'm in a similar situation with my son: I buy, paint and craft, while we both enjoy the games. I wouldn't trade it for anything :)

And a belated welcome too. My son is into the Dwarves of Moria and, yes, I have been roped in to paint them as well as build terrain for them. I know exactly how it feels (it's great).

What are "bkc," "cwc" and "fwc" ?

Thanks for the welcomes people, I have 4 daughters kept trying for the boy to share my love of model railways but it never came to pass. thankfully child 2 loves lord of the rings and when she came across mention of the game she absolutely had to have it. It beats high school musical and twilight so i am happy.

Ah yes, a friend of mine had some input into those games - Mal Wright. He rated a mention in the credits of BKC II I believe.

Welcome to both of you.
It's nice to see some female interest even in one so young, both my girls think dad's a geek 'painting his little men'...
