Not sure this correct place to post this but it seemed the "nearest" option.

Anyone else having problems with photobucket? I've been trying to upload some pictures to be hosted there so I can use in this forum, but I keep getting "network" or "unknown" errors when I try to upload?
Cheers
Scott

I don't know if this is only happening to me or to others as well when it comes to photos; my photobucket pictures are cutting off when I post on a thread, I can't seem to upload pics from my hardrive to the gallery any longer, and when I view articles here they show up as a thin column with 2/3rds of the pics being cut off.

Photobucket seems exceedingly temperamental lately; I've had a fair bit of trouble uploading batches of photos (only a few work at a time).

Thinking of just using freewebs instead.

I tink it may be that the pics are to large and the site is trimming them. I've noticed this on a few, when reading the forum you can see the right hand of the pic is cut but when you go to reply its all there due to the different page layout.

I use Photobucket a LOT, I actually have a paid for account with them :)
It's easier to upload if you resize your photos first. I have an automated action in Photoshop that resizes my photos, corrects the colours, lighting, and puts a watermark on it.

I guess it's the new forum and it's unfinished. I never had to resize my photos before if they were too big, usually the forum would resize it and you would then click on the photo to see the full size, or the thread itself would resize to span horizontally. Now instead of the thread resizing horizontally, it just cuts the right side of the picture off.

As for the aricles when I view them, I believe it's the page layout that has menus or lists on both sides of the article that sandwiches it to fit properly in my monitor screen. Perhaps it's because I have an old bulky cpu monitor whereas everyone else is going flat screen.
