Legions of the Ring, June 18 and 19 - SA

My good friends at the Group North Historical Wargaming Association are holding a Lord of the Rings tournament titled 'Legions of the Ring' over two days in June. It's being advertised in White Dwarf soon and prize support comes from a number of local hobby shops and includes models from Games Workshop and Forge World. It should be a great couple of days!

So any South Australian who wants to be a part of the biggest tournament of this year, or any other Aussies who fancy a road trip, please check this out.

Alright this looks fun.The tournament looks pretty hardcore nice and serious with all the rules on the pdf.This is definatley battle strategy game and not WOTR right?

I prefer WOTR but should be fun regardless.

about the other tournament up in maclarenvale,Is lotr still going to be there , or has nobody yet signed up to orgainise it?

Sorry for the late reply Im a Ent. The McLaren Vale show is going ahead, but there won't be a LOTR tournament there. A table will be provided for LOTR, but it's not a tournament.

And the Legions of the Ring tournament in June will be SBG, using several of the scenarios from the Legions of Middle Earth book (if you wanted to get some proactice in).

It's being held at the Group North clubrooms in Salisbury North - it's not exactly the easiest of places to get to without a car though.
