Hey all, I've finally caved and decided to take another look at a Haradrim army. I had a bunch of them a long while ago, but sold most of it off except my Mumak and a handful of warriors, plus my metal Raiders. Now that I'm sick of painting my Dwarves and I've gotten through all my Uruk-hai for now, I need a new muse for the time being.

Suladan on horseback - 100pts
4 Serpent Riders - 52pts
5 Haradrim Raiders with war spears - 55pts
Haradrim Chieftain with bow - 50pts
6 Serpent Guard - 48pts
5 Haradrim - 25pts
12 Haradrim with spears - 72pts
16 Haradrim with bows - 96pts

50 models, 5 Might. 498 points total.

Sick of painting? You mean sticked or bored? Anyway good army. Good cavalry 1/3 of models bows...5 Haradrims with only dagger(OHW) that's something prototype.

it looks ok, i would get some more spears though (y do u have 5 harad w/out anything? at least drop 1 and get some more spears or something)

I just mean bored of painting Dwarves. In the past week and a half or 2 weeks I've done a box of Warriors, half a box of Rangers, 3 metal Warrior blisters and a banner bearer. Quite enough for now...

My entire back line of 12 models has spears, plus the Serpent Guard do as well. Not only does it save a couple points, but I have some Haradrim with broken spears and this lets me use them for something. I'm converting them to have swords of various kinds.

I would swap the five vanilla haradrim for another couple serpent riders. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

What's with the hate against the Haradrim without spears or bows? Not all of them can have bows and the ones in my front line don't get anything out of the spears.

Anyway, I've only got the 5 Serpent Riders. I just got the box.

There isn't a problem, it just seemed convenient to swap them out for some more cavalry as four isn't really enough to cause significant damage IMO and you have easily enough bodies on the field anyway. Instead then, swap the haradrim and 1 spear for 3 raiders.

How many cavalry would one recommend at this points level? I usually use about 6 with Gondor, 8 Warg Riders or varying numbers of Rohirrim. I've never used Haradrim before, but I figures 9+Hero would be enough...
