Hi
I've been a bit confused after reading different things about different places :? , but when shooting at a cavalry model, if the horse is partially blocked by view, does it count as in the way?
I mean, for example:
A Ranger of Gondor wants to shoot Haradrim Raider (cavalry). A Haradrim Warrior (infantry) is standing in front of the Raider, blocking some sight to the horse, but not for the rider. When shooting at cavalry, the horse counts as in the way for the rider, but does the Warrior in front of the Raider provide In The Way as well, or does the rider itself have to be blocked?
Thank you in advance

Yes, since you have a 50% chance of hitting the horse instead of the rider, the warrior is in the way.

Cavalry is considered one model. If something is in the way of the entire model, whether that's the rider's head or the horse's hoof, there is an ITW. Only after you've determined that the cavalry model is hit do you determine whether it's the horse or rider that's hit.

Do I understand this correctly? If roll to see if shot hit warrior or cavalry then roll to see if rider or mount?
