Further to the replacement horses question, can anyone please confirm whether the Rohan Horse is the same as the Minas Tirith Horse? I'm sure the nose-piece is different but only have Rohan horses to hand - various pictures seem inconclusive.

Regarding Green-stuffing joints, it may be interesting to note, for example, that the Fell Wargs (Hunter Orc versions) have the joint cleverly concealed within the fur, however the muzzle area is poor and would still need filling and sanding IMO.

Mostly same. The head armour is different and one horse in a Minas Tirith sprue has more decorative reins.

EDIT: I only have several years old Rohan horses and new Minas Tirith horses, so I don't actually know if the generic horse has just been changed at some point. So, my answer changes to "definite maybe".

The metal KoMT used the same horses as the Rohan ones, so if use used Rohan ones it wouldn't stand out too much.
