Great stuff PoW 8) :yay:
I like the rusty effect and also the foul orcish colour of the cloth :yay:

Have to agree with DMS's suggestion, I tired it out and it looks great. The pale colour should stand out nicely against what you've done already.

Thanks all, the comments are much appreciated!
So I took DMS's and BizzareWarstar's advice for the skin. I didn't have rotting flesh, but I mixed some paint to get a color similar to it. I also tweaked it just slightly. Here's how much I've done today.

Still not quite done, but I'm close.
C&C welcome.

Thanks! :) I think I'm going to put this mini on hold for a weekish cause I want to paint blood on it and I want to try out the Tamiya clear red, but I don't have any yet. I don't know. I might go ahead without it. Anyway, time to see If I can enter this months challenge.

Thank you. Here are some wip pics of what I've been working on this past week.

As you can see I'm working on Bolg. It's a great model, lots of fun to paint. I decided to paint the three components it comes as individually so I can be sure I've painted the whole thing, and it's easier imo. I'm particularly happy with how the armour turned out especially the weathering. I always wanted to do this kind of weathering technique, and I think it turned out well.
Let me know what you think.

I really like your mordor orc captain. Fantastic character to that mini. The dwarf shieldbearer is also excellent - top marks for some great nmm, especially on the shield. I'm too scared to try this - would stuff it up for sure. Really love how your painting style has developed.

Wow, that Bolg is already fantastic, so close to the original, best one I have seen, I think it will be.

The NMM is also great on the earlier items on the same page. great work :yay:

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your comments, they help keep me motivated. :) Bolg is nearly finished, I just have the base left to do. I'll post pics when it's completely finished, which may be tonight.
