The skin is probably about finished, but everything else is just undercoat or first coat so far.

I’ll try to get some better photos outside as I make more progress.

Thanks for the comments so far, here are a couple of better shots. Hopefully I’ll be able to make some more progress tomorrow evening.

Here is the latest version, hopefully I’ll finish him in the next session, ready to start work on some Dwarves (probably Fili & Kili).

I like what you've done with the cloak, nice effect. The jacket needs to be darker in the folds, a lot darker. Some lighter touches to the highest points of the jacket will further help to define this.
Now use that thought on the hat and the black sleeve.
You have the basis of a great painted figure here. With a little work it will be stunning.

I’m updating this thread again now that I’ve found a reliable place for the photos that is easy to upload to (Dropbox).

I’m currently painting a war band of Goblins for the November painting challenge, here is my progress so far:

Carroburg Crimson Wash

I’m also just finishing off Oin, so I’ll try and add some photos of him too, along with fixing all the previous broken images.

A crimson wash? So favouring a more reddish end of the spectrum in the palette as opposed to the pale greens, yellows and browns - that will be interesting to see. They look very good already - maybe post 1 or 2 pics of single minis in closeup.
