When you use Erebor, do it SD's way, 29 dwarves is a horror to face and it makes me wet the bed just thinking about it. However I tthink Durin's folk are a terrible stand alone force and work best when allied. I like to field the kings champion leading Khazads/iron guard/shield warriors backed up by Arnor spearmen led by Malbeth, then your army has a defence of 6/7 all of whom get a 5+ save that can only be negated by floi and you have two banners. If you want to be super annoying ally in some elf spearmen.

Is it worth getting dwarf warrior archers?

Depends really, they have strength 3 bows and d6, which i think makes them incredible, however usually what pro players do with archers is give them spears to make them more versatile, but dwarf warriors cannot use spears, so it is a toughy.
