Welcome back, looks great, especially the Towers. You ask for any suggestions, I would keep it simple, lots of open spaces for games to flow. Look at the GW Khazad-dum book, lots of scenarios with things like the Dwarf Mirrors that can be easily removed. I always look at storage and make boards which can be broken down into sections for easy storage, or new sections added on, Balins Tomb for example.

Look forward to seeing more

servus together!

first thank you very much. your reply are really great and drive me on.

@ Fëanor, the mighty elf: I think you're right. a dragon has no place in moria.

@ Dorthonion and Harfoot: I've been thinking about the bridge or to build the grave but I think it is firstly very difficult to integrate into a large plate and on the other hand I have a few custom ideas that I would like to realize.

@ Oldman Willow: I came by chance upon your thread and could not at all get enough of the great works. I hope you do not mind that I borrow one or another idea from you

so, enough talk. tomorrow will be built again, and I hope that I can show you new pictures in the evening.

Thank you very much for the great feedback

first of all: the dragon pit has been talked me out. it is true, a dragon just does not fit in Durin's halls! well, then I have my dragon block in another project.

it continues:

I started with the "cliff". the inspiration is from the scene in the movie where the fellowship flee to bridge. This multi-stage network is just great! difficult to build, but I think I get it out quite well. a small bridge there will be ^ ^

I'm planning a whole length of a side with such levels. Here are the first pictures:

I have also completed a new column. this column will stand along the "main staircase" that will lead to a large gate.

Are you going to have some stairs broken so that people will have to jump over them?

Will this all be stored in sections, or do you own/have use of an enormous storage facility? It looks like you will end up with a gigantic play area.

Awesome! I really like what you went for in the end. Looks like a good idea.
The detail on the pillar also looks great.

Hi there!

Unfortunately, there is not much new.
The carpenter who will make scaffold for the plate to me is unfortunately very in stress. before christmas all want everything possible from him. so I have to wait a little me. he built me the whole free because he himself is model builders.

but I can not hold still so I have a small gate built that I will then install somewhere in the plate

I don't have much to add, so I guess I'll just have to second what Oldman Willow said! :)
Great job, really looking forward to seeing this take shape.

Wonderful terrain piece. This looks fantastic painted up. Now, where do you find sheets of pink foam that thin?

Brilliant work. Did you paint directly onto the foam or have you coated it with something first ?

@Gandlaf the Grey: I first primed with black paint and then dry-brushed with several layers of gray
