So, overlooking her stats again, what would you choose.
Of course each have their pros and cons, but it seems to me Tauriel is worth a lot for the same points......thing is Legolas' special rules are epic...

Tauriel has a better defense, better attacks, and her special rule make her a close combat master. Im not sure why she has a better defense than the Prince of Mirkwood.....but uh, yeah.

But Legolas can use his bow better than anyone in middle Earth in this game in my opinion.

Honestly, Id still take Legolas for versatility and you can always add armor, even if he costs more......but still.

Take both, and Thranduil too if you have the points.

I have to agree. Why settle for one when you can have both? Lol

It'd depend on my force selection. My head says Legolas but my heart says Tauriel, she's just cooler than him lol

So if it's a competitive game, Legolas for sure

Legolas is best if you want to avoid combat, which is something that you want to do as Wood Elves. Tauriel, however, is a little better for her points and definitely better if you want to get into combat.

I would say that Tauriel is better for points but she does the one thing you don't really want with a low defence army - be in melee. Of course you could just leave her out in the open and see how it goes.

They aren't really that different in pts, so I would just take legolas if I had to pick one.

I thought about that. Realistically you could throw her in the middle of a line of enemy morannons or uruks or lesser troops and call a heroic strike. You'll more than likely get the fight that's higher or you could just roll and as long as she ties she will win. And if she has to fight more than three foes all it means is shell have more chances to roll a six and secure that victory.

I would say Tauriel is better in close combat, Legolas is better at range. This because Tauriel has a point higher in some factors such as defence, making her more capable for close combat. Legolas has his special archery ability "Expert Shot" if I recall the name correctly. This gives him good reason to stay back, out of fighting and wear down the enemy with his awesome skills :-P If he gets attacked though, he is more than capable of holding his own in a fight with the average warrior or captain.
