No wonder you hate gold lol, this is very nice work, especially those gems. I hope no one else send you Elves.

:yay:

This is.. magnificent! :yay:
Each and every single model is painted to an extremely high standard, which we're all used to from you, by now. Still, it never ceases to amaze me! And then, in come the heroes! The blending, the colours, it's all just fantastic!

As close to perfection as it gets. ;)

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.
@Thermo - I am soooo glad these guys are off my radar now. Few more projects to tie up on and I'll have some serious GBHL time buddy.

It looks like you are starting to get the hang of this painting thing. 8)

Very interesting color scheme with the green play on the scarlet and then the khaki/brown cloth off set, looks great.

I thought mud didn't stick to first age elven cloth. :o

Absolutely beautiful, every single mini! The alternative colours look great too, they appear suitable for the end of the third age, when the elves in their "autumn" leave middle earth.. :)

DMS would hate the long distance bus services in Northern Ireland.
They call them Goldliners :)

Did the customer already approve the colour scheme, or is there a chance you may have to repaint them all? :P
Incredible job, such quality in such quantities - quite an achievement, hope you have some sanity left (not too much of course, tis highly overrated).

If you're ever in need of more gold by the way (just in case you're ready to paint gold again at some point in the next few decades), I think the Army Painter 'Greedy Gold' is very similar to Citadel Shining Gold. Will compare them side by side in a few days, but it seems incredibly close. Even smells te same as the the little pot that was supplied with the second issue of Battle Games in Middle-earth...

Utter amazeballs. I run out of superlatives when looking though this thread, those Elves are INCREDIBLE!!! I love the green gems on the shields and the green cloaks on the heroes, they look so realistic, amazing work. No worries at all about the paint, I was more than happy to help and you've done a far better job with it than I ever would have! It's an absolute pleasure seeing my paint on DMS models! :-D

Keep up the good work Kev, as always it's an absolute inspiration.
