That cloak is phenomenal. I cannot free hand designs like that and as such I have much respect for those who can

A fantastic piece that would be a proud addition to any cabinet.

Can only agree with Gandlaf, it's a wonderful display-piece! Though I'm not sure, why Michelangelo's Creation of Man is included on the rocks?

I thought it might be a fragment of a painted wall, fell into disrepair, the painting chosen is totally random, I know it is not very relevant with lotr but I think we're okay after all , no ?

At the time he reached the remarkable share of 6.9 coolminiornot :(, well, if you wanted to turn it http://www.coolminiornot.com/355758

I don't understand how that is a 6.9? Incredibly tough crowd i guess. Voted 10 and well deserved.

A very nice Shield Maiden of Rohan. The painting is awesome, the horse especially so.

I don't care for the cloak, not due to painting, just the color and the design both work against the piece artistically to me.

I see :) Knowing that, it won't "bother" me any longer. I've just been curious anyway ;)

Thanks guys, I have to say that coolminiornot to arrange before I left bya vote of 10 pieces and massacred them to me, so maybe it was just because it might seem presumptuous to give a vote of 10 at the start, a vote that I also feel I do not deserve, but now beginning by a vote of 6 and not that much has changed lol, my style is perhaps not appreciated that it can be.

The painting and the freehand on the cloak were tough choices, and perhaps not entirely accurate, I painted many pieces of lotr and always with the classical schemes and now I always try to diversify to make them less monotonous.

I also tried images and freehand best, but in the first case a few suited, in the second, a few could be done with ease on the mantle (too wavy: ().

The next target is to paint with yet more cleaning and tones of colors chosen, possibilmete no frills :), because I know that I am very far from certain levels, I've seen him live many pieces professional and exceptional.
At the next ;).

Hitting 7.9 now and starting to get to the level it should be at. An 8.5 upward would be appropriate.

Totally agree, a perfect piece, love the base, gives it that extra bit IMO

Not even the face of Beregond is a piece of recycled and modified, colored green to make it homogeneous, for the photos.
