the mounted version is slighty more rare but defo not worth $80 USD. Like £20-30 so $45ish USD.

80USD ? Ouch. I'd play the waiting game and take my chances with ebay. He's not that rare.

He's not worth $45 USD. I find him all the time for cheap on eBay. More around 25-30 USD

Ha! Yeah... I've said it before, but a figure is too expensive when it hits the price it would be had it been cast in silver. :P

$80 is way too high. I've seen it for $20 on ebay foot and mounted. You just have to play the waiting game.

I doubt he's rare, I've seen plenty on eBay for very little. I also hope he is not rare, or worth anything, as I just binned my poorly painter version a few months ago. If you're looking for one, try not to pay too much because it's a very poorly sculpted miniature in my opinion.

I have to agree that he's not a particularly inspiring piece, kind of like a gamorrean guard sat on a wolf lol.

Oh damn, the Gammorrean comparison is great. Makes me want to paint mine less. For my money, Grishnakh was always the worst Orc in the range but maybe Golfimbul will usurp him.

If your going to spend good money, spend it on a good mininature that is not yet OOP! Golfinbull is designed to be defeated by Bandobrast Tooke and is a real shocker in game terms, unless you are playing against Hobbits.

I just put mine also for to much on ebay, but If I were you I would not spend more than 20 euro on him, you can always buy a poorly painted one and strip it yourself.
@lord hurin Grishnakh ugly ? I love that model! especialy if you convert him a bit, I feel he has a real 'orcish' face

Really? That's interesting! I always thought Grishnakh was quite fun and a joy to paint, particularly seeing as he was sculpted so early on in terms of the LOTR-SBG's life cycle. Perhaps it's nostalgia that makes me think this, he was after all the first evil LOTR miniature I ever owned, aside from a band of Mordor Orcs.

I guess I don't like Grishnakh's open hand and the detailing on his back. I never knew what that stuff was, but it looks like it could almost be fur and bones woven into his armour. Weird stuff either way.

Personally I think its a great miniature and stands out from the rank and file orcs. Also I like all the filty bones, scraps of armour and tattered cloth and fur that if painted well give a real feel of filth and dirtyness of the orcs.

I saw a golfimbul foot and mounted on Ebay the other day listed as Glorfimbul, I snook a cheeky bid in but they still went for £30 even with the spelling mistake. Considering the Azog foot and mounted is £25 in the store and not OOP paying £30-40 is not really too bad. Personally I find the Bullroarer Took sculpts more appealing. I am hoping both models are released with new sculpts under the Hobbit range as an image of Bullroarer is seen and Gandalf tells their story.

Just purchased a Golfimbul Mounted for £13 mint condition. I just logged into Ebay and there was 2 mins left so stuck a cheeky bid in and won. When checking the description after it said also with 36 moria Goblins. I plan to sell the moria goblins for £13 meaning I got Golfimbul for 0

Don't jump the gun there, you might not make £13, although you might potentially do better and effectively be in profit as well!
