Reaper has many Werewolves models, male and female of various sizes ( the biggest complaint with reaper is the size consistency). Also there are wolves of several kinds around various companies that one could use for were wolves since not all take a semi-humanoid form.

As for Barbarians, I know Grenedeir use to make an awesome line of barbarian models. Currently I am not sure if anyone does something like that (market is flooded with military historics but not pre-historics or non military models).

I think they're too big. Infantry bases for them are 30mm while cavalry are 60mm.

I can't honestly say, never bought any, just think they look fantastic. I'm sure for Captains they'd be great.

Here is a Reaper Bones figure. I bought two and reposed the torso and arm on one of them.

I always liked the way Tolkein's fantasy world was rooted in the real world. To that end Iliked the idea of the werewolves being more like the "monsters" from the movie 13th Warrior for example. There may be one or two real werewolves somewhere in the mix but a warrior culture propogating the myth of werewolves seems more "real".
To that end this is what I use:

The barbarians are a lot easier as their are a lot of mini's available as previous posters mentioned. Here are a few of mine (Gripping Beast, Black Tree Design e.g.)

If you give the army of the dead an other paintjob, you can use them to represent warriors of Carn Dum?

You are correct Reto of course. And this keeps them tournament legal if that matters anymore!
The army of the dead painted as "live" warriors makes for a pretty shoddy looking bunch if you don't do some modelling however.

@doegred, I like the idea of more "non-mythical" werewolves - a cool representation! Here are some other alternatives for those Moon-howling beasts in addition to the Reaper Bones figure already mentioned:

Image

...and here is a size comparison of the smaller size werewolves:

Image

Next to the GW Ranger is a Mithril Miniatures "Werewolf attacking", followed By Mithril's "Werewolf running" and a werewolf By Das Schwarze Auge (DSA 17012, available via Ral Partha Europe).

Here's a line-up of larger werewolves:

Image

Next to the Ranger, my favorite - Otherworld Miniatures' Werewolf (WE7b). Then, Mage Knight werewolf (also available via Ral Partha Europe), and finally, the Reaper Bones werewolf on the right.
