Yep, I'm impressed.
You've advanced your face work really week. The face on the first figure is great, plenty of shading and a true grit sort of look, excellent.

Thanks Gandlaf! Painting space marines/wolves heads are a lot easier than the faces I've had experience with in LOTR. Perhaps because they are a lot more defined, but this has helped me gain a better understanding of where to put the shading and the highlights. Hopefully this will help me improve my ability to paint faces on some more Hobbit/LOTR models :)

Here are the photos of my final finished unit, the Grey Hunters from the Stormclaw set, which means this set is now done, for me anyway, the other half of it the Orcs are down to Tim now! :)

Also, here is another photo of Krom. I actually have been nominated in the top four of a painting competition on Instagram for this model, which I am super happy about it considering there were so many awesome entries I feel were better than mine. Not sure if you're allowed to link here, hopefully sorry if not!, but if you have Instagram you can visit: http://instagram.com/p/rpW_4eIRB_/ if you want to vote for me by commenting number 3 in the comments, or by commenting on the photo on the 'Tabled Miniatures Paint Studio' page on Facebook :) the competition ends tomorrow!

Brilliant news Amy on the competition.
To be honest, looking at the others, as good as they are, you deserve to be up there.

I am so happy to report that I won the painting competition! So happy as it was the first ever painting competition I have entered! The prize is one of the new Imperial Knights which will be fun to paint! :D

As for the glow on the guns this was done painting all white, glazing with Gullimans Blue then I used Forged Monkey Blue daylight glow weathering powder to create the glow :)

Absolutely loving your Space Wolves, especially the new captain miniature, you've done a really good job. Makes me want to revive my old unfinished squad of Space Wolf Long Fangs!

Thank you everyone!

My next project is the new Logan Grimnar on Stormrider model. Here is a WIP photo!

Nice start Amy. Lots of character to pick out on this sculpt.

I think I'm now done with Logan I may improve his cloak when I'm back in our usual hobby setting. Because of this the lighting isn't too great but tried to take the best photos we could! I'm very happy with the way he came out though :) any tips to improve would be great!

Next up for this model is the two Fenrisian Wolves! I've already done quite a large part of these, just a couple more things to finish off over the weekend and then onto the final part of the model the chariot! :)

The 'chariot' is not a favourite of mine at all. It just looks and feels completely wrong to me. It just does not fit in to the paradigm. It's more like something you'd see at Crufts than on a battlefield, but that is just my opinion.
Very well painted minis - have you had a bash at any of the heavier stuff like LandRaiders?

I can see where you're coming from, however I think the scult of Logan really makes up for that it's one of the nicest looking minis I've seen. I've not tried any of the Land Raiders no, although I have the recent Space Wolf flyer built to start when I've finished this :)

The wolves are now done, barring one final touch I want to do but need to get supplies for that tomorrow. I'm pretty happy with them! :) Also, going back to Tim's over the weekend so will be able to get better photos in our photo booth! :)

And the model is now complete! Really pleased with how it turned out, it was so much fun to paint, took a while but worth it!
