Ah, I live in TQ for a good part of the year when I'm not at uni. I'm looking forwards to seeing what photos you've taken of it!

Here are a few snaps from a recent trip to the Lake District. First up is a random little waterfall encountered on our ascent on one of the Pikes:

High Force waterfall, from both the viewpoint and the drop:

And now a couple of panoramic views shot from the top of Blencathra, also know as Saddleback:

There is no way I wouldn't want those waterfalls on my boards.

I've used this page for inspiration before so here I am returning the favour. Here's my trip travelling around the highlands at christmas in some very LotR picturesque places.

I only had about 10 minutes and a cell phone, but I took some quick pictures of Pisew falls in northern Manitoba. It was about 8:30 in the morning, and gorgeous outside. I thought I'd share:

Here are a few photos from my trip to the Rocky Mountains. I'll be putting the rest up on google plus tomorrow if anyone is interested in lots of photos of rocks, tree roots and the occassional elk.

One of my favourite castles - Caerlaverock in Scotland - yes, it is triangular!
Image
One of my favourite cities - Dubrovnik. Get a load of those walls!
Image
My home town - Derry (Londonderry). I don't own the cannon by the way. :)

That's enough for now.

Ireland can be very beautiful (when it it not raining!). Here is some proof from a random selection I pulled from old albums - by the way, that is my little brother in the photos but he is a dead ringer for me (more or less).

Croaghaun - huge sea cliffs on Achill Island - over 2000 feet!
Image

Derryveagh Mountains in February 1994 - I remember the date as it was the first outing for my Mamiya 645pro camera
Image

A couple of beaches in Donegal. No mad crowds and real sand, not shingle!
Image

Magillicuddy's Reeks - note some of my buddies on the right of the image
Image

Same place seen from the other side (that's little brother again - we look like that a lot of the time.)
Image

Him again - desert cammo confuses the heck out of red deer
Image

For fans of the film 'The Quiet Man'
Image

West Donegal - Napoleonic watch tower on Glen Head
Image

Little brother and some old friends in north Donegal (I love mountains)
Image

And finally, the west coast of Ireland.
Image

Enjoy folks. These bring back a lot of good memories for me.
