Very vibrantly coloured but impressive none the less.

I have to update more frequently, it seems.
It took a while, to find the thread.

It's a bit late, here in Greece, so I'd better moved on to the photos than start writing the story of my life.
These elves were a part of a commission and they weren't photographed properly, however "caught the eye" of many fellow hobbyists back at GBHL's FB page during the weekend.
But they are not alone, since I'm uploading an Orc banner bearer from my own collection. Just finished it (well...maybe), but I have to base it too. The shaman and the captain will be also finished in the next (very) few days.

Cheers!

Awesome! I really like how you can see the exhaustion on Haldir's face 8)
And that banner... It's a dirty cloth an orc wrapped to a pole and poured some paint on it... But it looks magnificent!

The Elves look really nice, Celeborn particularly caught my eye.

Took the advantage of a superfast photo-session for other miniatures and had the complete 3-piece Morannon command photographed.
I'm in a stage where I don't care so much about getting better at painting, but rather finishing the vast amounts of models that are in boxes, that are in closets and drawers.
It's still WiP, but you can see where they're heading to.

I've been busy these past few weeks. I finished some Grim Hammers and some more models here and there for others, but I also had some time to finish painting Beorn in human and bear form for my collection. Now, I'm trying to come up with some ideas for their bases.

Is he going to chop in half the wood or that owl? hahahah :P

Nice job on the flesh highlights, leather is professionally worked too. Heat works negatively to paint these days, at least my paints is getting dried too easy. Your results go against that flow :)

the owl is a great addition to the base. Looking forward to the bear form. Something on the base with honey? :)

Hahaha! Thanks guys.
@ Garmenhord, I wish! It would be beautiful, I thought it since my niece really likes Winnie the Pooh, but I couldn't find anything proper. :(
I'm pretty pleased with final result of the painting on these models, now I have to find some time to finish the bases.
Here are some WiP pics. I shortened the trunk on Beorn's base, but I have to make some roots for it to look more natural. I put some basic colours on the Bear's form base to see where its heading.

Now, I'm trying to finish off 6 more Hunter orcs on Fell Wargs.
Hopefully, a few photos of them will follow tomorrow, just a few hours before summer holidays.

The base is looking great so far and will really make the miniature stand out (even if it isn't that 'mini' to start with).
