A video breaking down the new source book's content is out. They seem to be making good use of the terrain for display purposes which is nice. I remember being so disappointed seeing old Khazad-Dum terrain used in the battle of five armies book they did.

Besides the new Éomer mini I really hope we get a new sculpt of Theodred. The old sculpt is terrible in all possible ways. Also new Grimbold would be nice. It’s a nice mini but it doesn’t look like Grimbold from the movies at all.

Well, that was interesting. If GW stands by their word, we should be getting a whole bunch more new models than just the amazing Dunlendings

Got the book, have to say I'm pleased with it. Plenty of scenarios of course and a mix of new profiles and legions. Dunland has been fleshed out well I have to say!

I am a bit disappointed by some of the legendary legions but I think the book is good overall. Very similar to Gondor at War. The highlight is probably the siege scenarios for matched play and the release of some models we have been waiting for since Legions of Middle earth came out in the 2000s. Helm Hammerhand, looking very much like his statue, and the Dunlanding Huscarls and Horsemen. I will certainly consider getting the former just to have on my shelf when he comes out.

Haven't got the book yet ... but like the sound of the new Ents.

The Dunlending models look very nice, but still hope there'll be something for the Uruk-Hai. Doesn't sound like there are any new profiles, but maybe we could get something like a plastic sprue with Lurtz and Mauhur, or maybe Lurtz plus Uruks carrying Merry/Pippin and dying Boromir again to fill the sprue!

Hey, yeah, I did in fact get my stronghold! I have opened it to look, but I can't do much with it until Christmas as it is meant to be wrapped for me from my kids. It looks amazing though! Seems very simple to create some unique buildings if you choose to. However, Rohan is my favorite faction so I'm somewhat biased. I've been pretty stoked ever since I heard about the book and terrain. I'm happy with all of the releases actually. My biggest disappointments are what hasn't been released! Eomer/Lurtz models. Named Uruk Warrior hero. Kinda bummed Lurtz isn't in any of the Legendary Legions too. Pretty much same as everyone else.

If you were considering getting the Stronghold and it's still available...I'd highly recommend! Or...if you happen to travel to Chicago some day, we can have a game on mine.
