He is also not so good in casting magic as the other Nazgul.

Yeah, Kahmul is a combat wraith through and through.

A VERY different kind of Wraith, what do you all think of him?

 Thanks Thrór, unfortunately I am on the road and have none of my books with me! Great timing. So about all I can say is "what a nice mini!" :)

I have updated the index however and thank you for considering my interest!

Cheers

hmm I think the sound of a combat nazgul wouldent work as they only have one attack they would need back up

*yawns*
That is the point of Khamul. He has a special ability which allows him to utilise his Will to greatly enhance his combat prowess.

And Curunir, he isn't that good a mini...

I find that hes the best ringwraith out there. He has a lot more story to him than the others(aside from the witch king).

Is that why you like him, or is it for his prowess in battle?

Thats pretty much only reason i like him. I dont use ringwraiths much although they do have some nice powers.

I don't like the mini, because it is such a typical Ringwraith pose.

Khamul on foot is useless. On horseback, or better fellbeast, however, it is easy for him to regain his will. I personally have him leading my kataphrakts, although I think ringwraiths accompanying him is a good idea.

Khamul doesn't work well accompanied by other Ringwraiths, because they are spellcasters and he isn't. But you are right, jackharrison, he is only useful on a horse or Fellbeast.

I disagree. Altough I never played with him, I like his profile. He is a great Warrior and that's what I think a Ringwraith should be. Ringwraiths are Hundred Slayers and that's why I like them more as a Warrior than as a Spellcaster. This way he can be kept close to the mainforce. That will give him and his surrounding Warriors a great advantage.

But its hard to be a good warrior with only 1 wound and 1 attack.

That's why he has a Defence of 8, and a Fight Value of 5.

Still not very good as all you have to do is have more attacks
and they die without will so there easy

Also I would like to request a change of topic as its getting old (note I'm requesting not ordoring)
