Hmmm, depends on who you call the enemy

Personally I think Sauron wins the cake (for killing both Good and Evil)

But if you insist on being one-sided (and I guess we are only talking about the movies) I'd have to go with Legolas... despite what Gimli says, that Mumak was way more than just one!

If it is only about what we've seen in the moveis then i'll have to go with Legolas as well. First, he's the one who kills big nasty thingies, like the troll and mumakil.
Second there are his "passif kills". For example: in the two tower, he made a ladder full of uruk-hai fall down, into more uruk-hai. And in the return of the king, don't forget to count the southrons still in the howdaw when it crashed down.

I would have to say Golum killed the most by biting the ring off. But that doesn't realy count. And then legolas counting as said before "passif kills" but plain old just killing enemies i would have to slay aragorn

Well Thomas, I say Frodo because by destroying the ring Sauron "dies" and the Nazgûl dissappear, Frodo makes the orcs on the Gorgoroth plains slaughter eachother and if we follow the movies and not the books, the ground underneath the orcs at the black gate collapses and all the orcs die...That's about twenty thousand!!!!!!

Merry and Pippin roused the ents who then attacked isengard and sent huorns to helm's deep. I'd say that's quite impressive, though maybe not as good as Frodo's..

I voted Frodo, but it could quite feisably be Gandalf, after all who knows how much he's killed over the many many years he's been wandering middle-earth.

Are you strictly talking about the time of the War of the Ring?
Or the characters' whole life time?
If its the character's lifetime then it would have to be either Legolas or Gandalf, simply because they're lifespan is like 1000-2000 years :P

Keep an eye on the dates of the thread- the last one by "guest" was almost three years ago.

June 2007-February 2009 is more like half of that (and for people who suck at math that is 1.5 years)
but I''m sorry I Necromanceded? ( ) but I just saw that above me somebody posted today so I thought well what do I think of this...

No not you... Rune-keeper.
Replying is fine but is generally not suggested to bring back dead threads- they have run their course (which is why no-one had replied in three... err... 1.5 years. )

Just keep it in mind.

Definitely Aragorn. In the movies alone, he kills probably a couple hundred, and remember he had "spent a lifetime battling evil in the wild places" quote of Games Workshop. And he was eighty-seven at the time of the War of the Ring. He also walloped off Lurtz's head. And he killled the Mouth of Sauron, and held his own against an armoured attack troll....I still think he should have killed it, though :-X .
