you sure it isn't 0? the word "ring" is not used at all - you get close with "rings", but it isn't the same...

It's not ,and I want to know from who the sword is, who's the wielder , as this one doesn't have a specific name.

Trick question!

Gandalf wrote:
Many are my names in many countries, he said. Mithrandir among the Elves, Tharkun to the Dwarves; Olorin I was in my youth in the West that is forgotten, in the South Incanus, in the North Gandalf; to the East I go not."

While re-reading the books, I came across a character I had a feeling wasn't on Tuckborough.net, and at least when I checked, was right.

Who or what was Targon, and what was his job?

Targon was a Soldier in Gondors Third Company, The Citadel Guards.

If I am correct I think it was Beregonds Company.

I beg to differ.

Targon wasn't a soldier, he was a worker in a storehouse of one of the companies, and he gave Beregond and Pippin a meal of assorted food and ale.

Oh, and he is on tuckborough.

That's the thing, It was never written that he was in any company, I always assumed that he was someone who provided the company with meals, not fighting as one of them.

Imagine Jamie Oliver/Gordon Ramsey cooking a meal for the queen, doesn't mean he's part of her bodyguard.
