As there were already some poles presenting their painting abilities I thought that it would be a good idea to show also some eastern conversions ;)

For the beginning, first models for my growing army of Angmar, showing the strength of human vassals of witch-king. As we do not really have those models neither in profiles nor in miniatures I decided to create an alliance of Dunland, corsairs and khandish mercenaries (LoME) then convert them a little and use as warriors from Angmar and Rhuduar.

That is all from me for that moment. I hope you will enjoy pictures ;)

And here is LINK to my WIP at Mitril, if anybody would be interested in seeing more of my works :)

Oh, and sorry for my English, I know it is not so good :)

Either load the images into Photobucket or one of the other free image gallery websites, or just post links to the pictures without the [img] tags around them.

The [img] tag is expecting ".jpg", ".gif", or ".png" to be on the end of the web address.

Thanks for the enthusiastic greeting. Yes, troll is scratch- built, not really my finest piece, it does not feet well enough to the LotR scale.

And a bit of Gondor for WotR army (10 KoMT waiting to be paint huh)

And conversions WoMT with bows => Axmen of Lossarnach. WIP of standard bearer and one axman.

Image

And the Bowman of Peliargir (count as WoMT, but looking nicer :P ) First company in progres, eight more bowman and some other infantry waiting for pants from corsairs :P Gotta buy another box when I find out from where I can get some money. As you maybe noticed, the torsos of corsairs and WoMT legs was used for the wildman of dunland a few posts above.

Image

Thinking that all of that got to be painted sometimes make me feel really sick.

That is all for now. Converted khandish warriors will have to wait a bit longer for painting Im afraid :o

Nice conversions, but wow! How did you manage to accrue so many of Boromir's shields!

Some great work! I checked your link and those are great conversions. I like the idea of the ghost moving through an object.

Casting. Termohardening plasticine (or whatever it is called in english :x ) mold and PVA glue cast. Easy and quite fast way for doing such a things. Gondorian infantry have stone bases made in the same way + some extra sand.

Oh, and my Barrow Wight ... Ill paint it one day ...

Gonna revive my old WIP topic.

As holidays ends some time ago I thought it may be a good idea o present some of my summer works :)

First goes Arnorian king, useing King of Man profile in LotR terms. I started sculpting him a few years ago, though I am a bit unsystematic :P so he landed couple times in the box waiting for better times. Hopefully I gonna finish him during this session

Shield gonna have star motiwe on it, as it is right symbol of Arnor

Next in queue is my second approach to barrow wight, this time not taht classic as last one.

And for the end alternative forBlackroot Vale Archers - Hunters of Anfalas. Since now only one company, second in the way, third - the last one will contain some even more alternative minis, whch I have not with me, so no photos for now.

Absolutely amazing!
So nice to see such a variety of great conversions of which many seem just a single addition of greenstuff. Wonderfully worked out! Very very well done mate! 8)

Your conversions are absolutely amazing! I really like the conversions you've managed to achieve with the corsairs and the Arnorian King is mind boggleingly impressive.

Great work! Time to get some more painted :D

This is mindblowingly good work Silverhand, particularly the stuff in the link in your first post. Stunning stuff.
I'll keep my eye on this.
