Jul, you HAVE to write an article about building one of those, it's fantastic!

You could improve the wood by lightly drybrush it with either Bleached Bone or Rotting Flesh.

aye, an article is more than needed, it really is a masterpiece.

Gee thanks guys! :-D Like I told Corsair, this was just a test-run for a friend. I was planning on making an improved trebuchet, for which I would definetly make an article... so expect one soon 8)
Although sadly my questions haven't been answered... how should I paint the ropes?

Also, a sneakpeek at my next project, which I've been researching and will start after the awards... an Avenger Bolt Thrower :-D

HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A HARSH CRITIC... I really need the opinions of others on the trebuchet...

Thanks guys :)

Looks good Jul, but I'd add some more weathering on the metal braces holding the trebuchet together. A black and brown wash should suffice.

Done! Thanks for that John... I also figured something was missing with the metal :x
Any more suggestions/criticism guys?

The line should definately be more strained ;) It's to loose now and i doesn't look real.

Also add some weathering to the wood grain itself ;) A wash or maybe just a filter of some brown/black/green, slight drybrush of bleached bone on some most exploited surfaces ;) So as to metllics, John already pointed that out ;)

its stunning - i couldn't believe my eyes when i first saw it.

as we said mate, get em cast and stuff hehe. then you can get some extra cash. save it for pro cast stuff in the future or minis.

5 star construction!!!!!!!!!!! - out of 5 obv.
