The concept sketches for the new nazgul headgear...

Joking aside, I like the figures. They are a bit unorthodox for nazguls, but still, nice figures.

I wouldn't put it past them, Sean...

In terms of Ringwraith figures - they suck. However I do like the pose of the Haradrim one. Could use him as a captain if anything...

What, you missed him? He's in the picture too. Just that he's the wraithiest wraith and is see-through.

Some of you guys don't like the models but remember that the black hoods and robes thing is actually a disguise for them to go into the shire. Wraiths can have a fashion sense too!

Uh, no. They're dead. Dead guys don't have fashion sense, as far as I know. Though the sculpts do look good, I won't be using them for games anytime soon.

The models are great if you ask me, but they don't work for me as Ringwraiths. I don't agree with "GW Matt" and some of our members that they only wore black as a disguise in the Shire. Through the books they are mentioned several times as the riders in black, and not only 'till Rivendell. When they are described on their fell-beasts in the book, they are also described as dressed in black. These last two models only wear their black cloak as a detail and not as their main cloathingpiece. This image doesn't correspond (for me) to most of the latest models. And I especially don't like the made-up fluff of GW. The Witch King and Khamul could be worked out (as they did), but the other ones should have kept unnamed and all should have been modelled in black robes, maybe a minor detail but nothing like this.

So in short, I'll keep using (and loving) the first 9 Ringwraiths made by GW.

Maybe the Dwimmerlaik will be wearing leather trousers and a trenchcoat then.
