Keep an eye on the dates of the thread- the last one by "guest" was almost three years ago.

June 2007-February 2009 is more like half of that (and for people who suck at math that is 1.5 years)
but I''m sorry I Necromanceded? ( ) but I just saw that above me somebody posted today so I thought well what do I think of this...

No not you... Rune-keeper.
Replying is fine but is generally not suggested to bring back dead threads- they have run their course (which is why no-one had replied in three... err... 1.5 years. )

Just keep it in mind.

Definitely Aragorn. In the movies alone, he kills probably a couple hundred, and remember he had "spent a lifetime battling evil in the wild places" quote of Games Workshop. And he was eighty-seven at the time of the War of the Ring. He also walloped off Lurtz's head. And he killled the Mouth of Sauron, and held his own against an armoured attack troll....I still think he should have killed it, though :-X .

Probably legolas or frodo. frobo killed like 128243949.4+pie [almost 4] orc's in war of the ring and a few rat's and stuff before hand and legoles is like :legolas: 5000 year's old and technically the whole felowship helped frodo kill them all and stuff so that why I kinda voted for legolas and all this talk of girly elve's has made me sound kinda' camp soooo yeah.

Sam of course, just see him go berserk with his pots and frying pans in Moria, knocking goblins as if he had done that his entire life!

.... .... .... Well, except for gardening aside of that, but still.

But I think you underestimate Boromir aswell, sure, he gets slain at Amon Hen, but before that he spent years fighting off the orcs of Minas Morgul around Osgiliath. (Okay, compared to Gandalf and Legolas that's not too impressive) - But it might be comparable to Aragorn?

Then we've got Faramir aswell, I'm not sure how lore-wisely correct it is by GW saying he was sent to Ithilien by the Shadow in the East scenarios takes place, but then we've got the ambushes of the Haradrims, aswell as picking up his brother's duties at Osgiliath.

Who destroyed the One-Ring, thereby getting rid of Sauron and bringing about the timely demise of most, well, very nearly all of his evil minions?
Yes - Smeagol. Well, accidentally Smeagol. A sort of inadvertant assist for Frodo, who was ably assisted by Sam.

So while Masters Gimli and Legolas had their little contest and Aragon just got on with it, and Gandalf was most useful directing and motivating (though he could get stuck in as well as the next wizard), it was the little guys who indubitably earn the highest scores in the defenestration contest.

well i dont think this is necromancing its only been like 3months and its still on the front page.but i was bored and decided well why not count?

so these are the rules i used:

only count kills that you actually see happen. e.g: if Legolas fires his bow and you dont see it hit anyone dont count it.

kills like legolas shooting the ladder and everyone just dying dont count.(or frodo destorying the ring)

and lastly when people are running everyone over with there horse dont count. its just to hard to count.

so i watched the two towers yestarday and i came up with the following results for Legolas

Shots fired:18
Kills: 17

i honestly thought he would have killed wayyyyy more but o well. he actually missed like 6 times because when he fires his bow you dont see him kill anyone and because of the berzerker and Gandalf.but the reason it went back up to 17 was because he stabbed a few people with his swords.

i know this may sound wierd but i found it really interesting.

now we just need someone to count everyone else :-D

Well Thomas, I say Frodo because by destroying the ring Sauron "dies" and the Nazgûl dissappear, Frodo makes the orcs on the Gorgoroth plains slaughter eachother and if we follow the movies and not the books, the ground underneath the orcs at the black gate collapses and all the orcs die...That's about twenty thousand!!!!!!

Gandalf. He's got time on his side (he's what, 10000?), so all of that time adds up.
