Now that I have a Balrog, odds are on that he'll be up against my brother's Mumak at some point.

I know that the whip will be able to hit the guys in the howdah, I don't suppose the Balrog is considered tall enough to actually attack the howdah or guys in it directly?

I'm just thinking that although the Balrog is worth more points, the Mumak (with upgrades) can get:

the trample 3 hits
lots of rock throwing strength 6 hits
4 actual attacks.

And of course, with a commander on top it has might points to spend.

It can also move faster, making that trampling even nastier!

Any advice on how to go about it?

Also, does a Mumak fight win knock over a Balrog? If so, does it happen in extreme slow motion from multiple camera angles?

Thanks!
Sim.

The balrog would definetely win in close combat. Be careful not to get him trampled on, though. So make sure he benefits from some heroic moves by having lots of goblin captains around.
