Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't decide between here and the WH/40k section - I chose here because it's linking to an external website.

Anyhow, with the arrival of 8th edition and the smaller rulebook in the Island of Blood box, Sousunou, our mutual friend, my girlfriend and myself have resolved to start a Tale of 4 Gamers up!

To keep track of our progress and to share it with everyone, I've set up a blog for you all to find evrything in one place, with explanations and such like!

I hope to see some of you Following!

The first update, which includes Stormsoul's army list, my army's names and Skyjacker's change of heart!

Another update and it's quite bumper compared to the previous posts! Got clarification of the rules, a rough deadline, my fluff, Stormsoul's names, both Stormsoul's AND my own fluff, as well as Sousunou's armylist...

Comments welcomed!

A small update with my nearing the finishing line and a couple of comments about Sousunou's vague concept for an objective marker, Stormsoul's wanted objective marker and all the information that I can get on Skyjacker's force.

All of these monikers beginning with S make me feel left out :( Shahut's Blessing just doesn't have the same feel....

Still can't make any comments in the blog but everything looks nice and maybe you should post this on: www.thepainteddragon.co.uk that's a site for painting and I think you get more comments.

Well, most of the comments that I've got have simply been posted on CDO, nobody seems to bother signing up for a blogspot account to make the comments on the blog, lol :D I'll wait until we have some stuff painted before posting it over there though ;) Although, I'm not big on painting and not sure how the others feel on their abilities, lol :D

Once more, there's been an update and I'm waiting for Skyjacker and Sousunou to turn up so that we can work everything out and add in an update to close the month off and start the next one!

Been yet another update, which I need to make a quick edit to because I forgot to announce what we're doing for this month (so, wait 2 minutes until you read the post :D ).

Still, got some pictures and sorry it was delayed, but I blame lost dongles!

Well, I have nearly completed one piece (but I didn't make it, it was bought for me, lol - however, I want to improve it!) and have begun work on a ridiculous number of river sections, including a ford piece and bought a stone bridge to convert/paint from a pet shop :D

Stormsoul has begun work on the base for her Venom Thicket and stolen the mass of coffee stirrers that I'd been collecting for such-like projects for her building.

We both need to get some polyfilla to build up the bases before work can continue.

As to the others, not a clue as to how they're doing, lol :D

Looks good so far for the progress but I suggest for the girl that plays wood elfs that she must not make here trees out of wire that's far more work and more expensive then regular tree's. I don't know where you live but I suggest this tree's:

http://shop.conrad.nl/hobby/modelspoor/ ... 12701.html

I have them and they have a very good quality but if she want other tree's they have much more. Go to conrad.com and choose your country :D

And for you rivers when you put some layers of wood glue on it make sure that there are no other stuff there and that no animals can walk on them.

Hope these suggestions help ;)

She assures me that she would much rather be making them herself, entirely from scratch, rather than having shop bought them. More for the achievement than for the money saving aspect, but thanks for hte tip ;)

Wasn't going to use any wood glue, just polyfilla and snad for texture/shape, then build up PVA glue and finish with 'Ardcoat varnish, but believe me, no animals will be allowed near :D
