Hi guys i need help for build a 1000 points Wotr Dwarves army.
I have some ideas but i need your help.
Leader
Floi(Loremaster rule rocks)
Balin(Good special rules)
King champion(a alone mini)
I think i will put Floi with dwarves archers becuse the skilled riders rule
I will put Balin with normal dwarf warriors
What are you thinking

I am thinking that first you need to tell us what models you have. Also, you'll get more responses if you give an army list, and ask for advice on how to make it better. What you've said is pretty vague.

Floi 90 points
Balin 100 points
King champion 175 points
Dwarves warriors with shields 6 companies 240 points
Dwarves archers 6 companies 210 points
Moria expeditionaries 3 companies with shieldbearer, hornblower 160 points

Floi will be with the archers and Balin with the warriors,i also think i may replace the king chmpion with Gimli.
But i dont have any minis.I first create the army i want and then buy them.

Much better, now I can give some advice.

Split the Warriors and Archers formations into two formations of three companies, change the Moria Expeditionaries just to normal Dwarf Warriors, and drop the shieldbearer and hornblower as well. Something like this:

Balin - 100pts
Floi - 90pts
King's Champion - 175pts
Dwarf Warriors with shields, three companies - 120pts
Dwarf Warriors with shields, three companies - 120pts
Dwarf Warriors with shields/two-handed weapons, three companies - 120pts
Dwarf Archers, three companies - 105pts
Dwarf Archers, three companies - 105pts

This list still has 65pts left, maybe get a Ballista?

your 3 main combat units (dwarf warriors and expeditionaries/2handers) need to move at the double in order to keep up with any other army so give one of them a capt. otherwise 2 of them will get too far ahead and get flanked, or you have to all move really slowly.... which is stupid cause you can never exploit a situation if you cant get there...

you seem to want the expeditionaries.... are you going to be playing against goblins?
