Hi I have just started playing WOTR, I was previously a serious SBG player but i decided to give WOTR a go.

I read in the rules if a formation looses half of its models it has to be taken off the board?
Is this true or not. If so this is a bit silly as 5 formations in a game wouldnt go very far.

Thanks guys:)

No if the last company in a formation lost 5 of its models(infatry) or 1(cavalry)then flee the battle.

Also, take a look at the Panic table. If you lose a combat and roll a 1 (onset of dismay) you have to roll a courage test. If you fail and have less than half of your formation then the rest of the formation dies too.
