Ah, okay then, lol. Well, I'm using the stuff that kids get in large plastic bottles :P

Also, you'll be pleased to hear that my girlfriend decided to buy tress in the end, purely because we couldn't find any wire and she wanted to get cracking.

Ultimately, check out the new blog post ;)

P.S. Thanks for looking AND commenting ^^

I'm not pleased she must know it by herself :P The only thing is that I've tried it once and it is a reall pain to do it.

That filler should work for terrain but I suggest to height op the riverside with cardboard or wood and use the filler to make the height difference smooth.

For the wood elf builing I suggest to make some woodenplatform with wooden bridges between them.

Well, one step ahead as I used some cardboard to rais ethe edges of the bank and get the desired effect! I managed to get all of the filling done and all of the silting (not finished the scree yet though). Just waiting for the PVA to dry, hoping to spray tomorroq!

That sounds pretty cool, but not sure how ambitious she feels, just yet ;)

Sorry, I've been away for the past week filming in Manchester and graduating in Chester, lol. Stormsoul has completed her forest (minus a few critters) and it looks EXCELLENT, but I can't update for another week as I'm still filming.

I've not heard from either of the others, but my river seems to look quite cool thus far (need to add paint).

It looks good but the river is a little bit too much blue it looks better with a brown grey colour.

It's because it's a raging torrent, so it's clear mountain water moving at a swift pace. I'll also be adding layers of PVA (with a final layer of gloss) which should dull the blue down a bit and the blue looks far brighter int he pictures than it actually is, but thanks ;)

What do you think am I a girl or a boy? :P

Looks good the poit system works good now let see some models 8)

And the problem that no one comments is that on the whole site thing are getting boring and not m any poeple look in this part.

I would presume a lad, but I have seen no reason as to indicate you as being one or the other. Even hero of gondor isn't anything to go by because it could refer to anything instead of you. Just didn't want to call you a guy and find you a girl or vice versa/inbetween :D

Glad the points system works, lol :P Some of it seems a little complex in being explained, but ultimately is very simple in practice. I think that I forgot to mention the "finish all tasks" and "finish all tasks first" points awards, but shall add them in when I remember to! As to models: Stormsoul has begun work on a rank and I have finished converting a baker's dozen of my Skeleton Warriors, but am debating between those, my Wight King, my Cairn Wraiths and some Zombies - regardless, I need a few pots to be bought to finish them ;) Need to take some pictures, but shall try to do it tomorrow for the lighting!

Well, I'm also updating on CDO, but get the odd response from various people :D You're the most regular, so you got mentioned :P

Was waiting until I'd got the scenarios uploaded before mentioning that I'd updated, but glad to see you checking back nonetheless :D The battalion boxes for Stormsoul and myself arrived and we're spraying the stuff today so we can get to work on the rest! As for the newcomer, he's got most of his list done ;)

Also, if you can check out www.ramblerstheshow.com that'd be great! If you got a spare bit of change, could even donate to it ;)

I haven't made any comments about improving the painting but here are some:

For the skeletons they look very clean at the moment the really need some mud and blood.

About the wood elfs the skin looks much better with a wash and then highlighted again with the original coulour because the skin is very flat.

Thanks for comments :DMy reasoning for not having smeared mud/blood on is that they have retained their Dwarfdom and not embraced the whole Undead thing. However, a bit of blood might not be entirely amiss ;) Doing another 10 at the moment, so may test one out and see how it goes.

Wood Elves - the colour got washed out a LOT in the pictures. They have very good shading (Tallarn Felsh) base colour of Elf Flesh and then highlighted with Bleached Bone/Skull White (depending on how she feels).

Will give the blood a go and try to get some better pics up though ;) Any comments about the zombies?
