Dragon volley?

So my son asked last night: if dragon fire is treated as a bow (as described in the rules), if you had 10 of them, could you volley?

Never mind it costs Will, you only hit on a 6, and you then have to face a minimum 3000 point army...the thought was amusing.

If you personally know anyone with the extra $500 and that much time on their hands to build and paint 10 of those models, please feel free to slap them with a wet White Dwarf (the magazine or a real one, whichever you have handy at the time).

It counts as a bow, but Dragon is not a bow-armed model. Only actually "bow-armed" models are allowed to volley and its breath is a special rule, not part of its equipment

But I would still let you do that just for the sake of doing it

It's a bit weird though because you can shoot 0-12" and 18-24" but not 12-18".
