Hey guys i'm heading home for summer vacation in the next couple of weeks and my local store is having a 700pt. SBG tourny. I have to bring 2 armies, one evil and one good. Here's my Gondor army , i'll post my Mordor army in a second thread. Just a note: i'm not trying to bring an uber competetive list this is a group of friends but i'd still like to win.

The Grey Company:

4x Rangers of the North - 104pts.
-Spears

16x Rangers of Arnor - 144pts.
-Spears

Monkey Twins - 170pts.
-Heavy Armor, Horse

Gondor:

Pippin, Guard of the Citadel - 25pts.

22x WoMT - 176pts.
-Shield

9x WoMT - 81pts.
-Shields, Spears

Total: 700pts. 54 models. 20 shots, 11 might

Monkey twins each have their own stats, they don't share them. So if you don't need the higher Fight, they're almost twice as good as Glorfindel for the price.

You have 3 points left, you might as well take 9 WoMT with spears instead of 6.

Depending on what scenarios you're playing, you might be better off to drop the Elf twins and Pippin, and then get Faramir and some Archers of Minas Tirith.

If you don't do that, then definitely swap Pippin for Beregond.

I disagree about dropping the twins. They'll do a lot more for you than Faramir and some archers (for one having lots more might). Though swapping pippin I would definetely do.
