You really need more models; you've only got forty. You probably need at least fifty, though sixty would be more preferable. I'd drop the Catapult because, frankly, it's rubbish, like all siege weapons in SBG. Simply replacing it with more Orcs or Goblins will make you army much more effective.

Right first thing I can see here is that it's lacking Might and Numbers. So I'd prob get rid of the Warg Chieftan: 2 Goblin captains would do better for Heroic Actions etc. I'd get more Orcs for the Catapult also.. And Normal Wraiths have never done it for me. If you were to get rid of the Wraith and the Shaman you could get (for 10 points more) a named Nazgul; namely the Tainted or Undying.

If you're going to take a troll, I would go with a Mordor Troll instead of the Cave Troll (unless you're just making a list out of the models you have, in which case go for it!). I'd also give the Wraith some might--a few more points of might is never a bad thing. I usually run my unnamed Wraiths with 2 might, starting will, and 1 fate. In my opinion the extra might is far more valuable than extra will--the wraith shouldn't be getting into combats in the first place and 7 will is more than enough for taking care of heroes (in most games). The one point of fate is a safeguard against a lucky volley fire hit or Legolas's auto-hit rule.

As stated above, I also think it's a good idea to drop the catapult. I would replace it with some elites (Blackshields, Prowlers, Mordor Uruks, and Black Guard would all work well with your theme). Orcs/Goblins are great due to their numbers, but you still need elites.

You've only used the siege bow and the bolt-thrower though . Catapults can be very useful but only in very big games so I would drop it for now. I would drop the shaman as well or the cave troll. Also, there's no point in taking the warg chieftan if you're not going to take any wild wargs. I would go for Durburz instead.

Is the catapult really rubbish? I mean if i can get give it severed heads so that have to roll for courage and then they get the -1 dice roll because of the nasgul. i mean its a friendly game so i dont want to get stomped but i also dont want to demolish them to the point they dont want to play the game ever again. (im trying to lure some of my friends in, ya know get them hooked on this plastic crack;) )

I have an army that work similarly to this. It's thousand points though and I only use it in "friendly" deathmatches.

It's not LOME legal but it's lethal.

At this points level, I still say "yes, it is rubbish". spuds does have a point though; once you get to 1200pts it's not too bad (but still not great).

An alternative to the catapult could be the Mordor Siege bow. Although I personally don't like it much either, it can work at 600pts. It can also be quite fun, as it's very unpredictable (like all siege weapons).
