WOTR - thrown weapons, and trolls

Mordor Trolls have thrown weapons.
Do they get their full attacks (3) to resolve for this throwing weapon shooting attack, or do you half their attacks and round up, therefore (2)?

I have not worried about it much before, but just notice you can still charge after using thrown weapons, so I may as well get the best out of them...

Yep. Just like any other Formation with thrown weapons. Even with their poor aim it can make a difference. And considering the fragility of an H2K it's sometimes not a bad idea to hang back and throw a bit if you can do so until you have support.

HAHAHAHAH....trolls have thrown weapons at Sbg....ok just a mistake.All we do mistakes.One time i was reading a battle report and confused Gimli with Legolas althought it was mistake of the author.

Yeah, a recent game showed in retrospect how this may be useful.
My Trolls are often lumbering along in the '2nd wave', which came in handy when the final company of an Galadhrim Knight unit emerged from the wreck of my warg riders. They then rashly charged my troll, which flattened them. But thinking afterwards, had I got the charge I could have killed them with 2 half lucky hits from thrown weapons on the way in to the charge...
