The ent looks funky! Love the eyes. Really great sculpting too. Since GW only make 1 decent ent (treebeard), sculpting seems the way to go. :yay:

well he's ok I guess, it'll always look better once they're all together, that's just the same with my gobs ATM. one will look stupid but put them together and he'll fit along nicely. one question though, what happened with the pike? :P I see it broke off? you should treat them with care you know? :P
anyway, good work so far, talk to you soon lad ;)

ty guys,
@eaothen: no it did not break. If there is a hump on the pike, that might be from bad paint stripping. Some of the figures had some strange basecoat on them. I suspect double coating like i accidently used on a few. That's why i didn't strip them. Because it's really sticky and terrible to get rid of.
Might get galadriel and a gondor banner for one euro each. But i have no time to get them. I hope he doesn't sell them b4 i get there. It's more or about 22km by bike i think. Very busy now, deadlines approaching fast!. Still take paint time when my i need to rest my eyes. They hurt quite fast while working on the computer.

And voila
goblin drummer :P

I have started up some terrain pieces
I wasn't happy with my piked stone wall so i removed the toothpicks. I will try to fix the piece up.
Also got my galadriel (the rest will go to a friend)
I am expecting lord sauron in my mail box one of these days.

You are doing very well. I really like the basing on those Uruks. The flash on the camera is annoying though...but oh well!

Good work, maybe tidy up the base rim with some more black because you can see some brown through it.
Your getting through these guys at a fair rate though so keep going 8)

got another uruk hai finished up this morning...
Also got this in my mail (togheter with eowyn with helmet in her arms)
Image
i was a mess to place in the fellowship... i had added lots and lots of glue on it... magnets on the bottom - and based
so i had to remove all that
Gandalfs staff that was already close to breaking , broke less then half way
Aragon's feed also broke halfway .. :( Dark and happy day for the fellowship. I removed the bases i used 6 spares. The 9 bases will be cleaned up or at least i hope so.... I was thinking the glue might losen up in dettol like it usually does...
i won't repaint the fellowship but i will add a lick of paint at places where it's gone.. I saw gray on gandalfs cape ...
I want to keep them like they were because i like to keep my paint evolution visible. Also avoid an endless cycle of repainting and cleaning them up again...

got your own diorama I see :P very well, we'll see which one of us will paint it nicest ;p
I had some probs with the plastic fellowship aswell.. Sam his feet are still on the plastic to place in the base if you know what I mean, from his ankles he's glued at the base or something.. oh well.. I'm glad I have the metal fellowship now, they look lots better than the plastic ones! ;)

ps: I like the Gandalf-santa miniature xD but I told you before I guess, but now he's popping up again.. lovely :P
good luck with the base though ;)

one last thing, if you spray paint it, watch out, when I did mine, the symbols on the grave where gone.. the paint got stuck in it.. :( it's sad seeing such nice detail disappeared..
