Hey, everyone.

With September's Painting Challenge quickly approaching, I am having difficulty deciding on a mini to paint. I had initially thought about tackling my Mordor Trolls, but I've been doing a lot of evil miniatures lately so I've been waffling back and forth.

As you can see, I have created a poll with all of the monsters that I own that are unpainted, but are assembled/primed and ready to go. Please help a fella out by selecting the one you think I should do!

Thanks!

I voted Treebeard since you're hesitant to do another evil model. It has more character than the plastic ent, especially if you count Pippin and Merry. The two hobbits will really add a lot to the overall model.

I've voted the Birch Tree Giant. I was initially going to do Buhrdur, but I should have a Willow and Linden Giant coming through the post soon, so I might do one of them instead.

I voted Treebeard. I would have said Balrog since I think you would do an awesome job of this Jon, and I would love to see it, but since you've been doing so many evil minis the good guys shoud get a showing. I know you'll do a great Treebeard too.

Anything but the plastic ent. It's ugly, hideous and not fun at all to paint.

At least the old metal Balrog was really nice and detailed model and one of the most enjoyable minis I've ever painted. I haven't seen the current version close but it still looks great in photos.

what is a Majestic Bear Birch Tree Giant?
Is it something you sculpted yourself?

It's a mini sculpted by ukfreddybear - http://www.majesticbear.net/products/1

I voted the birch tree giant as well, but the weird thing that strikes me is how much it looks like the one which has been sculpted on this very site. And being sold via an other.

It is the one that was sculpted in the article on this website. It was sculpted by ukfreddybear from this website and Majestic Bear Miniatures is his company :)

A classic mixup if I may say so myself! :)

I voted for the Mordor Troll as I have soft spot for trolls. If I voted for a good model it would be the Ent sculpt from Majestic Bear Miniatures.

If we all vote for something you don't want to paint, by all means don't paint it! The choice is still yours.

No worries! I enjoy painting just about anything. I just honestly could not choose, so I figured I would leave it up to you guys.
