Hello! I've haven't painted/played any warhammer for years, but a couple of weeks ago I found this site and it inspired me to start again. I've currently painted two rohan warriors as you can you below, but they still need basing. Ive also made a small terrain tile aswell ( around 80x80cm) which i feel has turned out quite well.

oh some very nice painting, they look very good. You could maybe add some dirt or wear effect to their cape? The terrain looks fantastic too, how did you base the model?

Yeah, they do look abit too clean at the moment! I used a piece of styrofoam for the base and for the rocks I used pieces of cork.

The cork looks nice. I like what you did with the clump foliage too.The static grass looks good did you use a static gun? 8)

Great painting! I really like the terrain. Simple and very effective look with those cork rocks and foliage. Well done. :)

Like the paintjob! Looks like you use a white basecoat, may I ask why? :P

Yeah, I've got the noch grassmaster, very expensive for what it is, but its a brilliant tool.

I find that white makes the colours more vibrant and a black basecoat camofladges bits missed, whereas with white if you miss a small bit it really shows up.
