The purpose of this poll is to determine which of the above good characters will be the painting challenge for the month of October. I have taken into account nominations made by those who suggested miniatures in the other thread, if you had yet to nominate a miniature I am sorry, this poll will not be adjusted. The poll will run untill 17:52PM on September 19th GMT+1, leaving everyone with a short amount of time to go out and get the materials they might need to participate next month.

Please note - the winning choice is not what you must paint next month, only what is preferred, you are still more than welcome to paint something else similar if you haven't got the correct miniature (for example, if Sam is chosen and you don't have a Sam miniature in time, you're permitted to paint up something similar for the challenge instead - like Frodo, Merry or Pippin for example).

this thread needs a little more evil....

Anyway, I am not voting on this for what I want, I'm not a big fan of most good moddels, so its purely from a perspective of which model I want to see other pople paint and that is why my vote goes to Cirion.

Well, I had to go with good 'ole Sam...I've painted all the models suggested even Sam, but I do need to paint him with an elven cloak still.

I have three unpainted Eowyn so I voted for her. However, I also have a Damrod, 6 x Sam, 8 x Gimli and 8 x Legolas that need painting so I don't mind if one of them wins either.

Thought I had an unpainted Glorfindel... turned out to be Haldir.
Oh well, looks like I made some people happy by voting for Glorfindel.

I voted for Sam, hopefully if he wins I'll be able to paint my armoured Pippin.

How does that make sense?

Because he means that if Sam wins, hopefully Pippin will be one of the acceptable 'alternative' miniatures for entry :)

He guesses. It could be that only other accepted entries are Frodo and ordinary hobbits. Then again, he's probaably right 8)

I don't see why both Damrod and Cirion are both listed? They're both commanders of the Ithilien/Osgiliath rangers, and the only difference between them is one has a shield, and the other doesn't..

Other than the obvious;
They also have different 'character' if I'm thinking correctly. :?
