new finecast coming soon!!!

okay, my local shop in Arnhem hasn't got much sets anymore, and has left a message at the empty places, that the old is sold out but there will come a finecast!

I doubt it is coming soon. My local GW (which is in the UK) hasn't had any metal models for months.

There are rumours around my country too... They are talking that probably the next Citadel finecast wave will be this:
Vault Warden Team
Witch King of Angmar
Dragon
Uruk-hai siege ballista
Gondor battle trebuchet
( Don't know if it is true but that's what rumours say :roll:

)

It doesn't sound very intresting. Anyway, Im planning to finish this hobby. No, I wont throw my collection to ebay, I mean that I wont buy anything else. All I want to finish my collection's painting. I also keep a wishlist about those figures, what I really whant. Nowadays I ordered Bilbo and Gollum. :sam:

I think he means the "More Coming Soon" empty advertising blister packs that the staff put on the shelf when there is no stock. It's essentially an Out Of Stock box. Very few of the staff know what is on the release schedule, they know a week ahead like customers.

I'm pretty sure there was a set date for the next finecast release in one of the old threads.

I think it said the releas date for the above items in FC is late October.

I posted something from a very reliable source on warseer relating to the list involving dragon and Vault wardens etc.
This is due oct/nov for the anniversary of LOTR but who knows. The whole GW site is dedicated to dreadfleet we might say bye to LOTR and instead make a one of purchase of £70 (poor pricing there, most people would have paid £60 but i reckon less than half that would pay £70)

I have to say, more finecast of existing stuff is not very interesting. I don't have a trebuchet...never wanted one. But it's one of the few things I don't have. Already got a dragon, ballista, etc.

I used to think "High elves! High elves! Where are my high elves!" Guardians and Rangers and whatnot.

Now I think "Profiles! Profiles! Where are the #$%#$@ profiles?!" Lots of new people coming through, or people wanting to pick it up again, and we have to tell them, sadly, that the new Faramir profile is only in a White Dwarf issue long out of print, or that some critical sourcebook is no longer available. SBG is in a shambles, they need to republish or make this stuff available one way or another.

Then I can go back to screaming about high elves!

Dreadfleet will be short-lived. Anyone who gets into one of GW's "Specialist Games" and thinks they will maintain it and keep up regular releases is a fool. GW wants the one-time cash surge for the main game, then they forget about the whole thing. HeIl, they've forgotten about their one-time "main line" game - LoTR SBG.

As it happens many people do buy into it, othewise they'd neverr make any monet. I myself have no interest whatsoever in dreadfleet.
