Next time you should remove the lines. Now it is very visible on the face and boots.

They might be not really on scale but i tryd to do my best. The toes are quite hard - if u want them visible and not getting lost in the rest of the mud.

Ah very good, I wondered what you mean when you mentioned invisible Frodo, as I thought it wouldn't need any work lol. That's great :)

It's a bit hard to see from first sight where the footprints are now. I tryd to make it look like mudd a bit by adding some nailpolish to make it shiney.

Well, its very messy now, and nothing is clear. If you work in the miniature world, a basic fact, that you need contrast, cause from a distance the human eyes could recognize the details.
For this reason, we use darker shadowes and highlights, so then everything will be clear.
Anyway, I higly not recommend the glossy varnish, cause then the lights makes everything wrong. I see, there is a river on the base, use just there light varnish, and some dropp some where, but not for the all, cause then it became some alien organizme.

I found a great example for Frodo footprints:

I have to agree that the varnish has distorted the highlights on the base - depending on how thickly the varnish has been applied you could still highlight just slightly around each footprint this will make them stand out more. Overall decent attempt tho mate well done!! :yay:

I like the shield, but the rest is too messy. I think now you should put some highlights, cause the contrast is not fine enough. Mainly you should give some highlight for the cape. And for the gloves too, it will be much better, if you paint the fingers carefully with the tiny brush.
