help with stats for moria goblins...

i have been playing the sbg version for 3 years now and my army is close to 4,000 points. and now im looking into the blackshields and prowlers. the only problem is that i cant find stats and point values for half of my miniatures i own...

i want to know if the blackshields and prowlers are worth it and i need stats and point values for them. i also need them for; bat swarm, giant spiders, spider queen and the spider swarms, cave drake, the dragon. i wish i had them so i could use them in a battle.. all help is appreciated.

Buy the Khazad-dum book, it has stats for Prowlers, Bat Swarms, Giant Spiders and Dragon. To get the Spiser Queen w swams you need Fall of the Necromancer. The only way to get rules for Blackshields and Cave drake is to buy the WD mag from last November.

One thing I will speculate upon: with Games Workshop having the licence for The Hobbit minis, there ahould be more rules and minis coming along in the next couple of years, so your force could expand but the points values and capabilities may also be modified if they tweak the rules.

Look in the WD section of the Japanese GW site for the stats for the Blackshields.

if you can navigate your way on it, might be easier to fing the old Wd, many GW still sell old WD's I bought that WD, almost a year after it is came out from my local GW store.

thanks i have been looking for the November addition from last year but i couldn't find it... so i was hoping the stats were on gw but they didn't get that far. i still havent gotten to the store i usually go to. thanks for the help maybe once my army is complete (but it probably wont) ill post pictures on the sight. thanks again for all the help.

If I log onto the Japanese site in America, there is no link for the White Dwarf section. Did they put it in a different place from all the European sites?

Hmm, just click the links where the WD link usually is, I think it's on the far left, then open up the drop down browser things until you see "40,000". Directly under that is the LotR WD pdf section.

I think I found the page he's talking about - you have log on, tell it to remember you, then set your region to Japan, leave the browser open, then click the link.

Now I'm presented with:
Legions (Expansion)
Support PDFs
Journeybooks
Special PDFs
Sourcebook: Kazhad Dum
Sourcebook: Harad
Sourcebook: Mordor
Sourcebook: Gondor (Defenders of? or something about Gondor)
(Army? Something) Lists

Nothing about White Dwarf, or ワイトドワアフ or 白 something or something like that.

On the English page, the White Dwarf link is to the left of the Finecast link. On the Japanese page the store finder is to the left of the Finecast link. As far as I can tell, the page layouts are exactly the same, just the White Dwarf link is missing from the Japanese page (for me at least). Here's what I see:

I went through the special PDFs and the whatever lists and couldn't find it, but there's a lot of material there. Can you get us one step closer?

I think it's the special pdf's are the scans of the white dwarf articles, you don't get the special rules or anything, but you get the stats and the in game costs. The Japanese WD link is to the far left (I think) of the Finecast link.

If you are after Prowlers, log in in English, go to the White Dwarf archive, go to LOTR articles and then to Gaming or Collecting and find the one called Warriors and Heroes Profiles (or something like that) find the two Khazad Dum ones (stats and special rules are seperate) and just look them both over for Prowler rules. For the points value it is in the Legion book.

For things like Bat Swarms, Spiders and Wargs they are in Fall of the Necromancer.

True, but it does give you all of the other creatures and such that the Moria armies can field.

Why they didn't include the Blackshields in 'In Saurons Sinister Service' or 'Reinforcements!' is beyond me.
