Fanatic, I've updated my file now. Thanks for all your hard work in putting this great resource together. If you wanna add the limited edition Dice Tins that GW brought out to accompany the game I've got a couple of pic on my site that you're welcome to use, though there are a couple more variations around that I haven't got, yet......

:)

Yes, I'd like to add, but I'm a little bit confused, so I need some help.

TTT - There were two dice packs, both were made from paper, with black (forces of evil, with the white hand mark) and green (free peoples, with the rohan horse mark) dices.
MOM - Four metal tins, with stone effect and dwarf runes, and on the front with the pics of Gandalf the Grey, the Balrog, Gimli and a moria goblin.
I've found pictures. Some of them needs some editing but I have them. Everything is OK.

ROTK - There were several metal dice tins, with red (the forces of mordor, with the eye mark) and blue (the forces of minas tirith, with the white tree mark) dices.
I have good pics of these:
- Evil side - The Eye, easterling, ringwraiths,
- Good side - Aragorn, Legolas & Gimli
I have bad pics of these two: Frodo and a mordor uruk-hai.

So I don't know if I have pics about all the dice packs that were released, and some of them I have bad pics.

Miniman, that's really excellent project! Thank you so much :yay:

I have just one proposal. Please, consider using bigger pictures of the miniatures in your next version of the guide. It would be even better than this one! :)

Hi,

Great work! I'm your fan!
I used your guide to guide me through my quest of collecting the miniatures of LotR.
However, I have some questions:
- The Uruk-hai scout captain with two handed weapon (page 133) was really released? I never so the miniature anywhere.
- Same question for the Mordor Uruk-hai (Limited) in page 149.
- The Mahud warrior with sword (the second one, with the white things in the head, in page 121), isn't it a conversion? I bought 5 blisters of the mahuds warriors, and never got that one (and never saw it unless in the GW photo)
This three miniatures are the only ones that are missing in my collection (if they really were released).

Also, I saw that you don't have some sprues pictures. I have the sprues for the uruk-hai scouts, rangers and the deads. If you're interested that I take some pictures for you, just send me a message explaining how should I do that.

(sorry about my english, I'm brazilian)

Hi,

Thanks for your words. I'm happy that my work just paid.
You can find more information about the limited or rare miniatures in this post:

The mahud was definitely produced. I've seen a couple on ebay. The other two, I'm not sure. :)

There are a couple of missing sprue pictures that are now on the GW website. The new twelve man boxes also have non-overlapping pictures of the army of the dead plastics. I've copied them below:
